I am Michael Matthews, a dedicated Director of Operations with over 12 years of valuable experience in leading and managing various operational functions. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong passion for streamlining processes, optimizing efficiency, and driving successful outcomes. I personally think Eastern North Carolina has so much to offer and have never regretted my decision to support all ENC has to offer. I have worked in almost every aspect of Real Estate, from Vacation Rentals and Sales to Long Term Property Management. I have always been attached to a top-producing team and love the fast-paced environment.
I've made it my passion to support the local Real Estate industry's best real estate team Realty Shop & Property Management. It is true what they say, the company you stay with says a great deal about who you are. At Realty Shop, treating co-workers and clients as if they are family is our standard. As the Director of Operations for Realty Shop, I am responsible for running everyday operations in the office, implementing procedures, upholding standards, keeping clients informed, and most importantly being the first face you see when you walk in, or the first voice you hear when you call in.
One of my key strengths lies in my ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective strategies to address challenges. I believe that effective communication and collaboration are crucial in driving success in any organization. I take pride in fostering a positive and cohesive work environment where team members feel empowered to contribute their ideas and work together toward achieving common objectives.
In addition to my professional achievements, I hold a strong commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement. I actively seek out opportunities to expand my skill set, stay updated on industry trends, and adapt to the ever-evolving demands of the business landscape.
In my free time, I can be found at the beach, concerts or trying out the latest restaurants. I also try and support all local events as that is what truly makes this area so special. Anytime not spent doing the above is spent with my mother and two sisters.
